Responsibilities

What you would handle

  • Step into active construction and remodeling work and contribute immediately.
  • Complete assigned field tasks independently when the scope and expectations are clear.
  • Coordinate with owners, supervisors, and crew members as project needs change.
  • Use personal basic hand tools and company or project equipment safely.
  • Protect the property, maintain an organized work area, and leave clean finish details.
  • Communicate progress, questions, and field conditions before they become larger problems.

Requirements

What the role requires

  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on construction or remodeling experience.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to Northeast Ohio job sites.
  • Must have own basic hand tools.
  • Dependable and able to show up consistently.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a crew.
  • Must take pride in quality workmanship.

Preferred qualifications

Helpful field experience

  • Framing, drywall, painting, demolition, trim, flooring, cabinetry, or repairs
  • Working through a project task with limited supervision
  • Coordinating with other trades on remodeling or construction sites
  • Documenting progress and checking completed work before handoff
